Make noise with BARD before the San Jose Women's March 1/19/2019

For those of you who wanted to park near the end point: the organizers have released that info! I've uploaded an additional pic showing where that is- Arena Green Park (this is the green space next to the SAP center). The route from the start at SJ City Hall to the park is less than a mile- ~0.8 miles.

Meeting place update!! The march is set to start at San Jose City Hall, so we'll try to meet near the 4th/Santa Clara end of City Hall plaza. (see picture)

Bay Area Resistance Drummers (BARD) will gather directly before the San Jose Women's March 2019 for an informal, energy-building, uplifting drumming session. Make noise with us!

We'll start ~20 minutes before the march is set to head off (so, ~10:40am Sat Jan 19, 2019) from Downtown San Jose (likely City Hall). Play with us, then continue and march with BARD, or split off with your own music/drumming/friends group for the rest of the event.

Perfect for folks who want to drum (or play some other instrument, or shaker, or bucket, or anything, in the march) but have no group to do so with.

Perfect for existing groups who are already planning on drumming/playing/singing but want to connect with a larger gathering first, before splitting off for the march.
