Invasive Species Removal/Habitat Restoration - Lemon Hill Fountain

The Lemon Hill Neighbors group and the Philadelphia Parks Department have kindly let us assist with removing all of the invasive species surrounding the Lemon Hill Fountain (Pip's Park)! Removing the invasive species will allow the native species to thrive and host many more pollinators and birds in this area.

The site does contain patches of poison ivy, so we will work to identify that before working in an area. Due to the tools and conditions that we will be working in, I would recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs.

Please bring sunscreen, water, and any other PPE that you would like to use. We will be doing a lot of heavy lifting, so I also recommend bringing a snack of some sort.
