Native Wildflower and Grass Planting/Habitat Restoration - Lemon Hill Park

Details
*DATE CHANGE* to 3/24 for weather
We will be working with the Lemon Hill Neighbors group and the Philadelphia Parks Department to plant native grasses and wildflowers surrounding the Lemon Hill Lion Head Spring and entry to the park! Planting native grasses and wildflowers will provide habitat and food for many more pollinators and birds in this area.
The site does contain patches of poison ivy, so we will work to identify that before working in an area. Due to the tools and conditions that we will be working in, I would recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs.
Please bring sunscreen, water, and any other PPE that you would like to use. I also recommend bringing a snack of some sort.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
