About us

If you've spent years wondering what's wrong with you — pushed through the exhaustion, absorbed the eye rolls, and quietly believed you were lazy, broken, or just not trying hard enough — this community was built for you.

Make Sense of ADHD PNW is a warm, strengths-based space created specifically for adults who received their ADHD diagnosis later in life. And here's what members consistently discover when they show up: you were never broken. You were never lazy. You were just never in a room full of people who actually get it.

Especially if you've navigated ADHD while also being queer, being a person of color, or both — you know what it means to be doubly overlooked. The medical system wasn't built with you in mind. Neither were most support spaces. This one is.

When you join our free twice-monthly Peer Support Groups, you get more than a meeting — you get a real community where you can finally exhale.

A place to work through the hard stuff — the workplace frustrations, the relationship friction, the grief of a late diagnosis — alongside people who have lived it too. A place to celebrate your wins with people who understand exactly how hard you worked for them. A place where the advice and affirmation you receive comes from lived experience, not textbooks.

The result? Less isolation. More clarity. And the grounding that comes from knowing you are not alone in this.

This is an explicitly inclusive space. LGBTQ+ adults, adults of color, and anyone who has ever felt unseen or dismissed — you are especially welcome here.

Facilitated by a professionally trained, ADDCA-trained ADHD Coach — who also has ADHD — this space is grounded in nearly a decade of experience. Since 2017, these peer support groups have been a trusted resource for late-diagnosed adults who were tired of going it alone. Built on safety, trust, and the belief that your brain is not your enemy.

As our community grows, in-person events in Spokane, WA and Portland, OR are on the horizon. You'll also be invited to connect through our Facebook Group and receive resources, updates, and optional opportunities for deeper coaching support — always on your terms.

Come find your people. 💙🏳️‍🌈
