Chess Club – Tournament & Social Night
Details
♟️ WELCOME TO THE F3DEZ CHESS CLUB
For the first time, F3DEZ is taking over Bar 64 for an evening dedicated to chess, drinks and meeting new people.
Whether you are an experienced player, someone who only plays occasionally, or you have always been curious about chess but never really had the chance to get into it — this event is for you.
No tournament experience is required.
📅 Thursday, October 8
🕡 Starting at 18:30
📍 Bar 64 – Barcelona
🎟️ Entry: €12
Your place is confirmed with a €5 online pre-registration payment here:
The remaining €7 is paid directly at Bar 64 when you arrive and includes one drink from the special event selection, including cocktails prepared at the bar.
♟️ HOW DOES THE TOURNAMENT WORK?
Before the event, we will ask every participant about their chess experience and divide players into three different levels:
- Beginner / New Players
For people who are new to chess, know the basic rules or simply want to try it in a relaxed environment. - Intermediate
For casual players who already have some experience and regularly enjoy playing chess. - Advanced
For more experienced and competitive players.
You will therefore mainly compete against people with a similar level of experience.
Each participant will play at least 4-5 games during the tournament.
Games will be played in Rapid Chess – 5+5 format:
⏱️ 5 minutes per player + 5 additional seconds after every move.
Points will be awarded according to the results:
🏆 Win – 1 point
🤝 Draw – 0.5 points
❌ Loss – 0 points
At the end of the games, a final ranking will determine the winners of each category.
🏆 PRIZES
And of course… we are not playing only for glory.
Special prizes will be waiting for our winners, including:
🎁 Bar 64 voucher
♟️ Chess-related gadgets
🎟️ Free entry to future F3DEZ Chess Club events
🍸 MORE THAN JUST A TOURNAMENT
The night doesn’t end with the competition.
After the official games, you can stay at Bar 64 for free chess games, drinks and socialising with the rest of the group.
Challenge someone new, ask for a rematch, grab another drink and enjoy the evening with the community.
The goal of the F3DEZ Chess Club is simple:
Play chess. Meet people. Have a drink. Make new connections.
No matter your age or your level — everyone is welcome.
👥 Limited capacity: approximately 25-30 players
Secure your spot with the €5 pre-registration and join us for the very first F3DEZ Chess Club night.
♟️ See you at the board!
