I am a crochet teacher and fiber arts crochet business owner, I teach homeschool co-op classes yearly to middle school & high school, private lessons, Make ICT, and at the library, you tube help videos and the occasional video call help session for other states.
in ROOM #3 I will be teaching you in the class how to make a CROCHET ROSE
I MAY have others TBA options available in case of emergency with needing something extremely novice and simple but if you know the basics crochet stitches you are completely fine and will find this extremely simple. this would include lavendar (straight) and daisies, tulips (in the round)
NEED TO KNOW: basic crochet stitches like chain, end row turning, Double crochet, skip stitch, be able to count stitches and know what they look like.
NEED TO BRING: yarn #4 medium worsted weight, #4, 4.5, or 5 hook, (we have yarn and hooks here at make if you need but it may not be the color, type or weight you want or need most of it is very dark colors ( i plan to change that soon.)
you can stop by WALMART (mainstays, premier)/ OR HOBBY LOBBY (I love this yarn) /OR DOLLAR TREE (premier) and grab cheap affordable yarn
I will be providing stems, directions and diagrams & pictures, and gluing station for when you finish your rose and you may leave when you like so I set the class for 3 hours but that does not meant it will take you that long and account for check-in, acquaintance, hands on help rotations, info on the other classes I teach here that are available to you, and stemming which requires choice of yarn wrapping, crocheting around stem or a green floral wire

FAQ: TEEN friendly, please do not bring young ones as this is a hyper concentrated classroom and a long class, you are welcome to only register children if you are not crocheting as an adult but just chauffeuring and as a homeschool teacher children are safe left with me in classroom to learn if you need to take littles out and this is a secured locked building where only badged members are allowed. any questions or concerns please call/text me 316-573-2240
