******We will meet at Sonoma's Best Air B & B & Deli @ 1190 E. Napa St. in SONOMA. ********** Wear good hiking shoes, a jacket, & energy.
Bring a lunch or have Sonoma;s best MAKE YOU A GREAT ONE.
We will leave there right before the gates open. **** This is a semi private Foundation with limited access. This is where i held one of my 1st events 15 years ago. We will carpool from Sonoma 's Best > & I'll have snacks, water, energy drinks for you also. Hiking poles may be advised as there are some high rocky terrain . I have them also.
***** Lunch will be at the half way point underneath the Redwoods at a small lake . Maybe the waterfalls will be flowing ? There are some short steep stairways to climb.
**** The vineyards should still have great colors in them. Also many historical locations , i will talk about.
****We will pass & visit 2 historical wineries on our trek. One of them is the oldest commercial winery in Ca. Maybe we will see & talk to the famous Count Haraszy to fill us in on more interesting history. Note: these wineries barely escaped the huge fires in 2017 !
**** All this & its very DOG friendly !! They really love this adventure !
And for a measly $ 23 & 1st time guests are only $15. KIDS ARE FREE !
