Santa Ana River Trail Bike Ride - 27 Mi. @ 10 MPH
Details
Join us on this beginner-friendly slow-paced (10 MPH) bike ride down the Santa Ana River Trail!
Is your bike not shifting quite right? Brakes rubbing? Bring it to MagLab's Friday Open Project night (a separate event) We'll teach you how to tune up your bike and then you can hit the road with us!
This is a no-drop ride, meaning the group will stay and help if you run into mechanical issues.
If you're riding a regular bike, the approximate fitness level needed is being able to walk at a brisk pace for 3-4 hours, half an hour at a time.
E-bikes are okay. If you want to bring an e-scooter or EUC that's fine too, but we probably won't be able to help with repairs.
Route
This ride will start at the Anaheim ARTIC. We'll ride down to the beach and back. There will be restroom, water, and snack breaks along the way needed. We may decide to get food near the beach.

Arrival
We'll be meeting in the Anaheim ARTIC's northern parking lot (Katella Lot 6). Parking is free. There will be lots of other bike riders there, so to find me and this group, look for a gold Toyota minivan. Use Meetup's event chat or the MagLab Discord if you need to reach me.
Please wear closed toe shoes and light layers since it will likely be warm and there will be sun exposure. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, helmet, and spare tubes for your bike if you have them
