Art 150: Intro to Sculpture

In celebration of the WFPL's 150th birthday, Hatch is running a workshop series titled "Art 150." Each workshop will focus on a different artistic medium and invites you to reflect, create, and connect through a look at WFPL history and visual expression. All workshop participants will have the opportunity to showcase their artwork at the WFPL's 150th celebration gala.

Using the number "150" as a starting point, we will consider how artists use parameters to guide their work. Discuss and learn about traditional sculptural techniques and explore different ways to connect physical parts using non-traditional materials. Led by Hatch Coordinator, Liz Helfer, also a sculptor, this workshop is limited to ages 12 and older.
