Zine jam is a bi-weekly, casual meetup to get together, make zines and make friends! No art or zine experience is necessary; this is meant to be a low stakes space to make art that is open to everybody. They will provide paper and tools. This is a Free event. We are not affiliated with the group, but are posting with permission.

This event is organized by Burn All Books, a risograph publisher, distro, and studio in San Diego, California. Focused on community and collaboration, we work with San Diego and Tijuana, MX based artists, writers and creators to produce zines, artists’ books, alternative comics, and art prints.

The event takes place at SCANNNERS Archive. A DIY zine and ephemera archive physically located in San Diego, California, USA. SCANNNERS is also dedicated to growing a digital archive online. The archive is built 100% by zine and ephemera donations/contributions from the community, both locally and beyond.
