Machining - Intro to Manual Lathe

In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of operating the Manual Metal Lathe, including the use of common tools like cutters and center drills. Successful completion of this class will provide certification to use the Manual Lathe at Make Salt Lake with a paid membership. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool.

Additional Information
Attendees must be at least 16 years and up. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them access to the Machine Shop and use of the Lathes with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
