The Abundant Love Project

Saturday, August 12, 2:00pm-3:30pm

No painting or art experience needed, just an open heart and a willingness to share compassion. You don't know whose life you might touch!!!

The Abundant Love Project is a simple way of spreading compassion by painting stones with hearts on one side and the words “You are Loved” on the back. Accompanied by a small note of encouragement these stones are hid in public places, like the library, beach, sidewalks, and just about anywhere, for people to find.

This project was birth through Deb Delisi’s grief of losing her daughter and as she was daily walked the beaches of San Diego she began picking up stone. The project has now gone world wide and groups are making Love Stones and leaving them everywhere around the world. A Facebook page for The Abundant Love Project was created so people can share their stories. In a short time, a community grew and stories of the power of compassion were posted on the site from around the globe, with reports of people finding the stones, reading the note and wiping tears from their eyes, and even choosing life over suicide!

All materials will be provided.

A donation of $15 more or less will help pay for supplies and room rental
