【※Event Date changed】Making a Simple Wood Deck Together in our Forest!

*Attention!
The event date has been changed from Saturday (4/15) to Sunday (4/16) due to the weather forecast. The meeting time has also been moved up to 9:15 at Ogawamachi Station (Saitama Prefecture), and we plan to return to Ogawamachi Station at 3:00 pm.

We have been working on creating an "International Forest" project for a few years now and we are looking for friends who are interested and willing to help us with our project! :)

■Activity:
・Volunteer work:
-We will mainly be Making a Simple Wood Deck Together for lying down on and relaxing.
-We might also be Clearing paths of branches, Collecting timbers, Branches, and Leaves for Firewood, Chopping Firewood, Cutting down Bamboo Grass, etc to maintain the health of the forest, make it more accessible and comfortable to stay in, and collect valuable forest resources for future donation events.
・Relax in the forest.

■Time schedule:
・9:15: Meet in front of Ogawamachi Station
・9:15-9:45: Walk to our forest through the town
・9:45-12:00: Volunteer work in the forest
・12:00-13:00: Lunch break, Relax in the Forest
・13:00-14:30: Volunteer work in the forest
・14:30-15:00: Return to Ogawamachi Station
*The schedule and activities on the day may be subject to change depending on the circumstances.

■Location:
・Ogawa town, Saitama Prefecture
・Surrounded by small mountains and forests, with fresh air and enjoyable nature

■Transportation:
・Take the Tobu-Toujo Line from Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo
・The trip takes about 1 hour with no transfers

■Meeting point and time:
・In front of the entrance of Ogawamachi Station on the Tobu-Tojo Line
・At 9:15 am
・If you're coming from Tokyo, please take the train leaving Ikebukuro Station at 8:00 am and arriving at Ogawamachi Station at 9:06 am

■What to bring:
・Lunch and water
・Please wear appropriate shoes, clothes, and a hat for working in the forest
・If you have work gloves（軍手）, please bring them with you. Don't worry about it if you don't have any
・No related skills or experience are required, everybody is welcome to join us. :)

■Language requirements:
No need to worry, the organizer speaks both English and Japanese.

■My requests to participants:
・Please do not attend the event if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.
・Note that we will not be responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost or stolen items, damages, or other issues that may occur during the event.
