Wood Deck Making and Forest Maintenance Work Together in our Forest!

We have been working on creating an "International Forest" project for a few years now and we are looking for friends who are interested and willing to help us with our project! :)

■Activity:
・Volunteer work:
-We will be Making a Simple Wood Deck Together for lying down on and relaxing.
-We might also be Clearing paths of branches, Collecting timbers, Branches, and Leaves for Firewood, Chopping Firewood, Cutting down Bamboo Grass, etc to maintain the health of the forest, make it more accessible and comfortable to stay in and collect valuable forest resources for future donation events.
・Relax in the forest, Forestbathing

■Time schedule:
・9:20: Meet in front of Ogawamachi Station
・9:20-10:00: Walk to our forest through the town
・10:00-12:00: Volunteer work in the forest
・12:00-13:00: Lunch break, Relax in the Forest
・13:00-14:20: Volunteer work in the forest
・14:20-15:00: Return to Ogawamachi Station
*The schedule and activities on the day may be subject to change depending on the circumstances.

■Location:
・Ogawa town, Saitama Prefecture
・Surrounded by small mountains and forests, with fresh air and enjoyable nature

■Transportation:
・Take the Tobu-Toujo Line from Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo
・The trip takes about 1 hour with no transfers

■Meeting point and time:
・In front of the entrance of Ogawamachi Station on the Tobu-Tojo Line
・At 9:20 am
・If you're coming from Tokyo, please take the train leaving Ikebukuro Station at 8:00 am and arriving at Ogawamachi Station at 9:06 am

■What to bring:
・Lunch and water
・Please wear appropriate shoes, clothes, and a hat for working in the forest
・If you have work gloves（軍手）, please bring them with you. Don't worry about it if you don't have any
・No related skills or experience are required, everybody is welcome to join us. :)

■Language requirements:
No need to worry, the organizer speaks both English and Japanese.

■My requests to participants:
・Please do not attend the event if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.
・Note that we will not be responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost or stolen items, damages, or other issues that may occur during the event.

私たちは、数年間にわたり「国際交流のできる森作りプロジェクト」に取り組んでおり、私たちのプロジェクトに興味があり、手伝ってくれる仲間を探しています！^^

■活動内容：
・ボランティア活動：
-リラックスするためのシンプルなウッドデッキを一緒に作ります。
-薪のための木材、枝、葉っぱを集めたり、枝を伐ったり、篠笹を刈ったりすることで森林の健康を維持し、より快適に過ごすことができるようにし、将来の寄付イベントのための貴重な森林資源を集めます。
・森林浴、森の中でリラックス

■日程：
・9:20：小川町駅前で集合
・9:20-10:00：町を通って森への散歩
・10:00-12:00：森でのボランティア活動
・12:00-13:00：昼休み、森でリラックス
・13:00-14:20：森でのボランティア活動
・14:20-15:00：小川町駅に戻る
*当日のスケジュールや活動内容は、状況によって変更される場合があります。

■場所：
・埼玉県小川町
・小さな山と森に囲まれ、新鮮な空気と楽しい自然に恵まれた場所です。

■交通手段：
・東武東上線池袋駅から乗車
・乗り換えなしで約1時間

■集合場所と時間：
・東武東上線小川町駅入口前
・午前9時20分
・東京から来る場合は、午前8時に池袋駅を出発し、午前9時6分に小川町駅に到着する電車に乗ってください。

■持ち物：
・昼食と水
・森林で作業するには、適切な靴、服、帽子を着用してください。
・作業用の手袋（軍手）がある場合は、持参してください。ない場合は心配しないでください。
・関連するスキルや経験は必要ありません。誰でも参加できます。:)

■言語要件：
主催者は英語と日本語の両方を話せますので、心配しないでください！

■参加者へのお願い：
・コロナウイルスの症状がある場合は、イベントに参加しないでください。
・イベント中の怪我・事故・紛失・盗難・損傷・トラブルなどの責任は負いかねます。
