What we’re about
I'm not a New Year's resolution person, but this year, I vowed I'd make more guy contacts and friends. So, why not create a Meetup group to see if it can happen?
I think there's a lot of men out there looking for other men for more friends. Either you're wrapped up with work, family, kids, or just work enough alone, I think, as men, we could use more male connections in our lives. I think we should limit getting our social or emotional needs met by our significant others or spouses, especially when there's a dearth of good guys to relate to in our lives.
This is not a sports-based, dating, or coaching group. Alcohol will happen, but it's not the focus or the "glue" here. Guys straight + gay are invited, but this is strictly limited to making and developing positive male friendships.
This group is intended for midlife men (40's/50's) to come together to see if there are others like them out there, and how to help form casual connection, longer term friendship, or even a small commit of guys.
Interests may include (but are not limited to): casual coffee/tea/drinks, get togethers, art, music, film, books, current events, politics, culture/society, personal lives, self improvement, learning, intellectual pursuits, healthy living and eating, relationship/marriage life, photography, hobbies, travel, family life/childfree living, philosophy, spirituality, etc.
You need to come with an open mind, friendliness and good intentions, and without an ego or an agenda. Really looking for guys who want to connect with other guys for possible friendships.

See all- Lunch at Luci's At The OrchardLuci's at the Orchard , Phoenix, AZ
Saturday lunch with friends at Luci's at the Orchard awaits you. Slow summer, or lacking contact with other guy friends? Join us for lunch!
Luci's at the Orchard is in central Phoenix, in a nice location, and has tons of food options, whether you want breakfast, lunch, coffee drinks or something in between. Menu's here.
As Luci's does not accept reservations, I will be getting there early to try to secure our tables to accommodate our group. Please have patience if we don't immediately have secured seating. Thanks.
Note: This is Luci's at the Orchard, and not the Luci's on Bethany Home and 16th Street corner location.
Look forward to seeing you there and then, and newcomers always welcome!
