What we’re about
Remember the days when you first fell in love with filmmaking?
Filming silly skits, music videos, commercials, and random scenes with your friends or family — your camcorder was your best friend. Best of all, there was no pressure, no budget, and it was all just for fun.
If you’re craving that again but don’t have the people to join in anymore — or maybe you’ve never had the chance and want to try for the first time — this group is for you!
The idea:
Once a month (or so), a few of us will get together to write, film, and edit short films or skits. Sometimes we’ll bring scripts we’ve already written, sometimes we’ll create them together, and if we get stuck, we can even re-create scenes from movies or shows. The world is our creative oyster. 😊 The purpose of this is to exercise our skills!
This isn’t about deadlines, perfection, or money. It’s about having fun, meeting awesome people, gaining connections and being creative. Sure, our projects might not look like high-budget productions, but that's not the point. The point is sharing our stories, gaining connections, exercising our creativity, and having fun. If we ever want to share the videos, we could post them on a YouTube channel, or even submit to a festival.
All styles and genres are welcome (as long as it’s tasteful haha).
No equipment or experience necessary — just bring your creativity and willingness to join in. If you do have experience or gear, that's just a bonus!
