Introduction to mlr3 for Machine Learning in R

The R User Group Malaysia welcomes you to the meet up for the month of May 2023. The R User Group Malaysia is a diverse group that come together to discuss anything related to the R programming language and related tools. We aim to provide members a platform to share and learn about R programming and gain competency as well as share new ideas and knowledge. For this meetup, we have invited a speaker to share on the development of machine learning algorithms in R.

Talk title: Introduction to mlr3 for Machine Learning in R

Talk Summary: Machine Learning in R (mlr3) is an open source package and ecosystem provide a generic, object-oriented, and extensible framework for regression, classification, and other machine learning tasks. In this talk, the speaker will share about the mlr3 universe of packages and the implementation of machine learning methodology to implementations of complex algorithmic pipelines.
