Hey everyone! It's Coleman Metts (from www.socalsurfsup.com). Ok, so the beaches are closed. But if you're a newbie to surfing, then this is a great way to get started! We're going to meet for one hour (socially distanced!), and go through a lot of foundational basics.

What We'll Be Learning

• Water Safety: We'll spend a little bit of time going over the ABCs of safety. You'll learn about how to keep your board from injuring you and others, and some tide and swell concepts.
• Paddling Position: Paddling a surfboard is is a technique which can be pracied on land. It involves strengthening your core, and using your arms and hands to generate speed.
