Now a days it seems like science and magic are constantly being pitted against each other, but does this have to be the case?

Join Chase Dumarais, a Chicago based microbiologist and witch, as he leads a workshop focusing on the intersection of witchcraft and science, specifically highlighting how magical practitioners can incorporate microbiology concepts into their craft. We will cover scientific and microbiological basics, discuss the role microorganisms have historically played in witchcraft, and delve into some scientific literature before ending the evening with a ritual influenced by the topics discussed.

This workshop is designed for everyone in mind, so there is no pre-requisite microbial or magical knowledge required. Please join us for a fun and thought-provoking evening where we dance in the grey area that is the intersection of science and magic!
