Sp. Suonare e cantare presenta una refinada selección de música del Barroco temprano italiano y su influencia posterior en las formas musicales alemanas. Un período en el que la diferenciación entre la música para ser cantada y la música para ser tocada con instrumentos llegan a su esplendor. El programa incluye obras de compositores como Barbara Strozzi, Claudio Monteverdi, Dietrich Buxtehude, Giacomo Carissim, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Philipp Friedrich Böddecker y otras figuras relevantes del siglo XVII.
Este concierto cambrístico pone de relieve el contraste entre las voces y los instrumentos, alternando piezas vocales de gran intensidad emocional con obras instrumentales llenas de color y carácter. Las formas breves, cantatas, canzonas y sonatas configuran un repertorio que muestra la evolución hacia un nuevo lenguaje musical, más libre y expresivo.

This period saw the zenith of the distinction between music for singing and music for instrumental accompaniment. The program includes works by composers such as Barbara Strozzi, Claudio Monteverdi, Dietrich Buxtehude, Giacomo Carissim, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Philipp Friedrich Böddecker, and other important figures of the 19th century.…
This chamber concert highlights the contrast between voices and instruments, alternating vocal pieces of great emotional intensity with instrumental works full of color and character. The short forms, cantatas, canzonas and sonatas make up a repertoire that shows the evolution towards a new, freer and more expressive musical language.
