Sp. Beethoven y Brahms: dos momentos vitales.
El Trío Gassenhauer opus 11 de Beethoven es considerado una de las primeras grandes obras cambrísticas del genio de Bonn. En ella, Beethoven muestra un dominio del lenguaje vienés de su tiempo con la genialidad y la valentía de aquel que puede vislumbrar y ser protagonista de todo lo que acontecerá. Por lo que respecta a Brahms, su opus 114 muestra una estética romántica llena de ternura y profundidad donde el clarinete y el violonchelo se expresan con la melancolía y la intensidad de quien recuerda una vida pasada.
En contraste con la más que evidente conexión de un último Beethoven con un Brahms temprano, estas piezas nos permiten poner en diálogo realidades vitales opuestas: el inicio y el ocaso de sus carreras musicales. A través de esta formación, Beethoven se expresa con un nuevo mirar de raíces clásicas fruto de su talento y frescura juvenil y Brahms lo hace —casi un siglo después—con la contundencia y la intimidad de quien pensaba haberlo dicho ya todo.

Beethoven's Trio "Gassenhauer" opus 11 is considered one of the first great chamber works of the genius from Bonn. In it, Beethoven shows a mastery of the Viennese language of his time with the genius and courage of one who can glimpse and be the protagonist of everything that will happen. As for Brahms, his opus 114 shows a romantic aesthetic full of tenderness and depth where the clarinet and cello express themselves with the melancholy and intensity of someone remembering a past life.
In contrast to the more than obvious connection between a late Beethoven and an early Brahms, these pieces allow us to put into dialogue opposing vital realities: the beginning and the decline of their musical careers. Through this formation, Beethoven expresses himself with a new look at classical roots, the fruit of his talent and youthful freshness, and Brahms does so—almost a century later—with the forcefulness and intimacy of someone who thought he had already said everything.
