Dear Speculative Fiction writers,
In collaboration with The English Bookshop in Malmö, I will lead a new autumn workshop, Ghost Stories: Reading and Writing Under the Covers, starting Monday, October 26th.
Let’s read ghost stories from around the world to better understand how culture and worldviews are closely tied to storytelling. 📚🏰🌫️ And get ready to encounter spirits, ghouls, and otherworldly creatures from various continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America). Then, write your own haunted tale inspired by the diverse overview of ghost storytelling. 👻⚰️☠️🕸️
We will meet once a week for 5 weeks. Our first workshop will be at The English Bookshop at Södra Förstadsgatan 4, 211 43 Malmö, and the rest of our workshops will be held online via Zoom. We'll provide complimentary coffee (with free refills), freshly baked ghostly cookies, and other autumn treats at our first meeting!

For writers who wish to join the workshop but are not in the Malmö area or will not be able to attend our first in-person meeting, you are still welcome to sign up. :) You can request a summary of our first meeting by email and join us via Zoom for the 4 remaining workshop sessions.
