The Bench: React Alternatives you've (never) heard of

Everybody loves React, we do too, but there is a huge world out there and as much as we love React it never hurts to look at other alternatives.
It's not you React, its us, we just need time to find ourselves...

Due to the ongoing apocalypse, we have decided to turn this evening into our first remote event where we will take a look at CrankJS, CycleJS and Svelte.

Each talk will take roughly 20 min and afterwards the idea is that you should have a basic understanding of the overarching concepts behind the libraries as well as how it relates to React and why we think it might be a interesting alternative.

Since this is a remote event there'll be no beer and pizza this time, you are of course welcome to drink all the beer and eat all the pizza you want from the comfort of your home but we won't be able to support it, more than in spirit.

We are excited to be able to take this step but hope we'll be able to get back to our IRL meetups once the world has ended or gone back to something more normal.
