**This is a full-day walk around 12 miles long, with plenty of hills. Please only book if you have walked with us before AND you're confident of your level of fitness**

We're going to walk from Ledbury train station to Great Malvern train station, over fields and hills. The route will take us through Eastnor Deer Park and onto the hills, where we'll follow the ridge to climb all the available peaks. Eventually, we'll drop into Malvern and back to the station.

We'll meet 9am at Great Malvern station (WR14 3AL and free street parking) to take the 9.14am train to Ledbury. A ticket is £6.70 (I think) and the train gets to Ledbury at 9.26am (hopefully). Should you prefer to meet us at Ledbury, please be at Ledbury station for 9.26am (and let us know beforehand so we're not waiting for you at Malvern!)

Please bring a picnic, water, waterproofs, and everything you need for the day. We may find a cafe along the way but do bring your own supplies.

We're asking for a £6.50 contribution to attend this event. Please pay as you book. You’re welcome to bring a guest, but please pay £2.50 for them too.

How to pay:
Please pay via PayPal using the following link:
https://www.paypal.me/danwebb1. Select Friends and Family payment (it’s on the page where you choose your payment method), then we don’t get charged a commission. Please also put the event date as your reference, then we know what you’re booking.

All proceeds go towards running the group on Meetup. Once recovered, we'll give everything to charity.

Things you need to know:

1. We’re very friendly. Come on your own and you’ll soon be chatting with others. And while we have many regular attendees, almost every walk includes first-timers too. We welcome single people, those whose partners don’t wish to walk, and couples.

2. Please arrive ahead of the start time. We typically wait for five minutes, but beyond that, we’ll start the walk.

3. Please pay when you book. We reserve the right to move you to the waiting list if you haven’t paid. And this may mean you miss out on your place if someone jumps in ahead of you.

4. As a rule, we don’t allow dogs on our walks. It’s just easier.

5. The Malvern Hills are… hilly. EVERY walk will include several steep climbs and descents, so you must have sufficient fitness to achieve this level of walking at a steady pace. While we’re not super-fast, and do stop for breaks, it’s frustrating for you and others if we keep having to wait for you. If you want more detail about a specific walk, please message us beforehand as we’re always happy to help.

6. We run this group voluntarily, just for fun. And we have a lot of it. While we aim to look after everyone, you are responsible for your own safety when walking with us.
