Want to know more about the hot topic of kids' coding but not sure where to start? Come to a mama.codes "hack" - it's a relaxed way to get your head around kids' coding (now on the curriculum from Y1) have fun with other parents, and make a cute animated joke!
We do our coding in the free tablet-based ScratchJr app (for iPad and recent Android tablets) which we recommend as a great introduction for beginners aged 3-8 - and their parents and teachers!
We run regular home and school based 'parent hacks' in London (and perhaps with your help, beyond!) and host 90+ step by step creative coding projects on our website at www.mama.codes. To play, you just need a tablet the free ScratchJr coding app - download in seconds from the App Store or Google Play.
I'll post details of forthcoming parent hacks, school holiday workshops, afterschool clubs and teacher training sessions on this group. If you'd like to attend or host one in an area not listed, please drop me a message!
We look forward to coding with you!
The mama.codes team (Please message me or email email@example.com if you have any questions)
