Fútbol Sala Tournament and Toy/Food Drive!!

Dear Friends and Supporters,
We’re excited to invite you to a very special community event happening Friday, December 13, and we need your support to make it impactful for families across Washington, DC. 💛
Taste Takeover is proud to host our Fútbol Sala Tournament and Toy and Food Drive, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police Department’s LGBTQ+ Liaison Unit and the DC LGBT Mayor’s Office. This collaboration allows us to reach more families in need, strengthen community relationships, and bring joy to neighborhoods that need extra support this holiday season.
Why This Event Matters
This event is more than a tournament, it’s a chance for all of us to come together in the spirit of giving. With rising needs across our city, our goal is to bring toys, food, and hope directly into the hands of children and families who depend on community support during the holidays.
Working alongside MPD and the Mayor’s Office ensures that donations are delivered safely, directly, and intentionally to the neighborhoods where they will make the biggest difference.

If you’d like to join the Fútbol Sala Tournament, spots are filling fast. To play, simply bring 1 new toy and 1 canned food item
