Thanks so much for joining MAMAs Austin! We are a 501(c)(3) organization developed to help support and encourage working mother attorneys in Austin. We have formal lunch speakers regularly during the school year, seasonal and special events to which families are invited, and various casual lunch events as well (much via Zoom currently). I look forward to meeting you at future events!

While there is no fee to join MAMAs, we do accept donations and corporate sponsorships to help fund our events. There is a paypal link on our website, https://www.mamasaustin.org/donate (the public face of MAMAs, since all our other groups are private). Please contact the board if you are interested in giving back in other ways.

We use Meetup.com to announce all of our events and gather RSVPs. We also have a referral list in the documents section on Meetup. Please consider filling out your Meetup profile and/or contacting the board to join the referral list and utilize MAMAs' networking opportunities.

To this end, we encourage you to recommend other MAMAs, whenever possible, and to give our members an opportunity to respond to a request for a referral before you recommend someone outside our group. And please, don’t be shy about letting others know about your practice areas and the clients you serve—we are here to open doors for each other. We look forward to getting to know you.
