🧙 As in many other Anglo-Saxon countries with its pumpkins, we will get back to Catalan roots and will go to a typical village to know more about the regional celebration of late October, and celebrate its traditional Castanyada-the day of all saints.

🧙So this time we will hit for Viladrau village.

THE PLAN👇

🍂First we will do a hike of 15 km at the magical forest of northern Montseny .It is more beautiful in autumn, because of the colorful leaves on the trees! Many locals are coming here to collect mushrooms and enjoy nice walking with the family.

💀🍂💀 During the hike we prepared for you a surprize!🕷️🦇🎃👻🧟

It would be a real interesting Helloween day,full of surprises! You will be read the story about a dead girl and should find places where she hid her asnweres,so you can find out what happened with her in that forest. We will have a winner,who will get a present at the end of the hike!

🍂After finishing our hike we will get back Into the town of Viladrau, (Osona) . We will get to the town square , and meet houses of witches that was held in the village in 1617.

🍂The Fira de la Castanya de Viladrau is celebrated from 1995 to the end of the year to develop a cultural activity that combines nature and the recovery of a product of the land.

Till the XX century the ¨Castanya of Viladrau¨ had the most valued chestnuts in whole Catalonia.

📅How will be our Day?

⏰· Meeting point: VIVARI CAFE (metro FABRA Y PUIG) at 08:00 a.m.
🚌· 08:15 we leave from Barcelona
☕· 09.30 Stop for the breakfast and meeting the group.(30 min) in the place of the starting point of the hike.
🚶‍♀️· 10:00 We start hiking .
🥪· 13:00 Lunch time in the middle of the way.
🎉· 15:30 Finishing a hike.Coffee break.
🚌· 16:00 Driving to Viladrau.
🎉·16:30 Free time in Viladrau.Enjoying the market.
🚌· 18:15 Going back to Barcelona
🚌·19:30 Arriving to Barcelona.

• Estimated duration: 4,5 hours in total walking+1,5 hours rest.
• Elevation gain: +700m
