Welcome to SINKS & DINKS!
This group is for Gen X, Xennial, and Millennial adults without kids, whether solo or partnered, who want to connect with other childfree friends.
If you’re a parent, we kindly ask that you skip this one. Our events are meant for those who are childfree by choice or circumstance, not just taking a night off from parenting. (There are plenty of great local groups for parents and empty-nesters!)
We’re based in Sarasota County, and most meetups happen around Sarasota and Manatee counties. Expect a mix of casual events like happy hours, beach days, dinners out, and other local adventures.
Group guidelines:
- If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours in advance when possible.
- If something last-minute comes up, just message your host so we can open your spot for someone else.
- Repeated no-shows may result in removal to keep things fair for everyone.
- No MLMs, advertising, or other businesses allowed.
- We are not a politically affiliated group.
We welcome all non-parents regardless of background, gender, orientation, culture, size, or income level. The only requirement? Kindness and respect.

Jazz and Sunset at The Bay Park
The Oval at the Bay, 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL, USThe weather is beautiful, so let's enjoy an evening of jazz outdoors at the Bay Park!
We will meet at 4pm to claim our spot on the park lawn and socialize for a bit before a jazz musical performance from 4:30-5:30pm. Bring your blankets and chairs! Afterwards we will hang out at the park until ~6pm for sunset views.
The performance will feature Dr. Lenora Hammonds (Lenora Zenzalai Helm) and her trio. The program spans jazz standards, original compositions, and genre-blending arrangements, with special guest performers from the Booker High School VPA Jazz Program.
