🌆 Special edition — we're taking language night up to the best view in Taichung.

Three small conversation tables — English, Japanese and Korean — run side by side on the 15F lounge and terrace, with the lights of Calligraphy Greenway right below us.
🗣️ Pick your table
• English — Star Hostel's international guests join us, so you're talking with actual travellers, not just practising with each other.
• Japanese — from anime slang to the parts of Kyoto no guidebook mentions.
• Korean — K-drama vocab, TMI questions, and where to actually eat in Seoul.
💡 Nobody sits there smiling awkwardly. Every table gets our topic cards — icebreakers, "would you rather", travel disasters, personality quizzes — so there's always something to say, even when your vocabulary runs out.
👥 Only 10 seats per table. Small on purpose: you get real speaking time, and you actually remember people's names.
