LOCATION
Cathedral Gardens. Cathedral Gardens, close to Victoria train station, is the outdoor area encircled by the National Football Museum (formerly Urbis), Cheetham's School of Music, and the Corn Exchange. I suggest we meet at the north end of the gardens, by the pool, because I find this area is generally quieter than the southern end. However, I'll update attendees of my precise location on the day should weather, or crowds/noise, dictate a change of plan.
DONATIONS
Donations towards the costs of maintaining this meetup page are welcomed, however, you are still welcome to attend if you cannot afford to donate.
MEETING TYPE
Our events are a chance for Autists to meet one another and share their authentic autistic experiences. Further to concerns raised previously regarding meeting indoors (Covid), together with the cost of hiring an indoor venue, we are trialling outdoor meets. Suggestions for future locations are welcomed.
For everyone's safety we ask that you not attend if you have Covid symptoms, are sneezing or coughing. We ask all attendees respect and accommodate each others distancing and masking preferences. Thank you for keeping each other safe <3
