Manchester AI is a new & exciting in person event within the city centre. It is a frequent meet up of all local talent within the Data Science and Machine Learning Community.

This is a community building event where everyone from junior engineers to leaders & managers can come, and meet people within the same industry and listen to entertaining & informative talks.

We have 2 exciting talks at our event from:

Farooq Ansari - Client Partner - Softwire
talk entitled:
"AI Integrity: Building and Deploying AI With Responsibility"
explores the ethical considerations, challenges, and best practices for developing and deploying AI systems responsibly. The talk will cover key principles such as fairness, transparency, accountability, and bias mitigation, providing practical insights on how to ensure AI technologies align with ethical standards and societal values.

Oscar Richardson - Senior Software Engineer - Softwire
Talk title:
"Building a chatbot that ‘listens’"
Oscar is a senior software developer at Softwire with experience in developing GenAI applications. He will share insights about AI prompting and systems design from his experience leading a team of 5 developers to develop a unique chatbot in the nonprofit sector.
