Sunday stroll along the Irwell Sculpture Trail

Details
New joiners welcome!
A leisurely linear walk between Radcliffe and Prestwich metrolink stops, taking in the Irwell Sculpture Trail, Clifton Viaduct and Drinkwater Park.
These walks are designed to be suitable for people with no walking experience or specialised clothing. Also anyone who just fancies an easier walk for a change, all are welcome.
At the end of the walk, we'll stop for (optional) drinks at a suitable pub near Prestwich tram stop.
FAQs:
What to wear? Walking boots are recommended as paths may be muddy.
Can I bring a dog? Dogs are welcome on a short lead, see https://www.madwalkers.org.uk/about-us/policies/dogs-on-walks-policy/ for details.
Can I drive to the walk start? You’re more than welcome to meet us at Prestwich tram stop — just make sure to arrive before the stated time.
Many of our members are not on Meetup, so the RSVP list will be smaller than the total number of attendees. Typically around 30 people join each walk, so there's plenty of people to chat with.
