Hello, and welcome!

Your Group
Manchester Pubs & Beer is for anyone who enjoys discovering great pubs and good company.
We celebrate Manchester's fantastic pub heritage while exploring everything from historic locals and cosy real ale pubs to modern bars and hidden gems. While many of us enjoy trying different beers, ciders and perries, you're just as welcome if you prefer wine, cocktails, soft drinks or anything else. It's the company that matters.

Our Events
Our regular programme includes:
Friday Socials – usually on the first Friday of each month, visiting pubs in different parts of Manchester city centre, as well as the suburbs and surrounding towns of Greater Manchester
Saturday Socials – relaxed afternoon and early evening pub visits, usually finishing somewhere with music and dancing for those who wish.
Days Out – regular trips to cties and towns within easy travelling distance of Manchester to explore their pubs, history and attractions.
We also attend pub quizzes, visits to beer and cider festivals, and have the occasional special event.

Get Involved
Members are always welcome to suggest ideas or even host an event. Just post a note in the Meetup Discussions section or have a chat with one of the organisers at an event.

Behaviour
We're a friendly, welcoming group that enjoys pubs responsibly.
Please treat fellow members, venue staff and the places we visit with courtesy and respect. Abusive or disruptive behaviour, whether at events or online, won't be tolerated and may result in suspension or removal from the group. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, it may be referred to Meetup's Trust & Safety team.
As with all Meetup groups, everyone attends events at their own risk.
