Sheffield Steel City 49 th Beer Festival

Here is the final need to know information.

This is a great beer festival with around 250 beers from all over the UK, Foreign and key keg bars and a cider bar too. The beer list is released the week of the festival, so check for that on the festival website and Facebook page.

There is always a good selection of food vendors, this year to include pizzas, Bratwurst, crepes, Caribbean and Italian street food, sandwiches, pies and snacks, plus food in the adjacent Mill Owners Arms ( who also have a festival beer offering).

The entertainment is at 8 pm for those still around and In addition something unique to this beer festival is the steaming of the huge River Don engine at 6.30pm. This is not to be missed!!

Admission is £2 for CAMRA members and £5 for non-members. Programmes are £1. Glass deposit is £3 (refundable). The bars take cards and tokens (available in £5 cards) and these are refundable too.

Meetup arrangements

Meet ar Sheffield Station from 12 noon in the Station Tap on platform 1 (directly accessible from the platform).

It's a 20-minute walk to the festival. However, buses/ taxis are available should anyone prefer. Please see attached photos for transport info
