Monton Village Meander., Monthly 🍂🌳🍃🦊🐿️🍃🌳🍂

Hi everyone,

** Happy New Year - Let's Start 2026 off on the Right Foot **

Come along with me and other social group members to the delightful Monton Village, in Eccles for drinks and/or Sunday lunch out too.

Meeting at The Garden Bar & Restaurant initially for drinks, we can eat there or there are lots of other venues to choose from., leaving at 2 pm to sample other venues there that do Indian, Chinese or Italian delights too., dependant on what people are in the mood for.

The Garden Bar & Restaurant sell their own home made cakes, that look quite tempting so you can just enjoy a coffee and a cake there only, if that's your preference.

My personal choice for a stop off is The Waterside too, as it's lovely there of an evening, in particular when it's lit up. After there., we carry on canal side either into Worsley or to the Trafford Centre, going off the majority vote with the group. I'm bringing a draw-bag, in case it's 50/50!
The health walk side of things will be around 4 miles and returning, if there's enough of us, I'm happy to return canal-side after too.
Easy for all fitness levels for us all, as well.

Bring your torches, if you can with a bottle of water optional.
