Monton Village Meander., Monthly 🍂🌳🍃🦊🐿️🍃🌳🍂

Hi everyone,

I've decided to change our meet up venue, from The Garden to across the road at Blossoms Bistro, which in turn is next to the Tesco Express on that main road too.

A lovely venue, with a vast menu that caters for all diets, spend as much or as little as you like, once in there too. The staff are friendly and welcoming there, as well.

I thought we could set out, once everyone's arrived, heading towards Worsley this time, going through a forest type area, going passed a former train station there, that closed many, many years ago now, though you can still see in passing the platform to it, that once was.

We could call into The Delph perhaps or there are other charming pubs there, we could venture into, before returning, if it's still daylight, canal-side instead.

This will bring us out at The Waterside Bar, Restaurant and Hotel also again. It is nice in there also. If it's too dark for us to walk back though, if and when we do decide to all return to Monton, I'm happy to catch a bus or share a taxi instead. Let's see how it goes, as I know the days are getting a bit longer now anyhow.

You're welcome to bring your own torches and/or a bottle of water too.
