Whaley Bridge Visit & Walk

We will get the train to Whaley Bridge and then a lovely walk (approx 2 miles) through Buxworth Basin and along a disused tramway to Whitehough where we will have a drink in the Old Hall Inn (large outside area if nice weather). Lunch or light bites available, or pizza from over the road at the Paper Mill Inn (same owners so they will probably let us eat together)
We will then walk back to the Goyt Inn in Whaley Bridge for a drink, and then an optional look at the repaired reservoir, and the Transhipment Warehouse. Possibility of testing out other pubs such as the The Whaley Nook Tap Rooms.
On the return trip we will stop at Davenport for the Milliner (Margarets local). Food available.
Obviously you are welcome to join and drop out anywhere on route.
