Many of you may know a used in live on the Derbyshire/Nottingham. I thought it might be fun to go and visit some of my ex haunts in Nottingham. Nottingham has a great pub culture with lots of interesting and historic venues serving really great drinks and food. I plan to travel down on Saturday morning by the 8.10 coach and return on Sunday on the 17.05 coach feel free to join me or make you own plans. There is fairly late trains on Saturday for those that may want to return same day. I have an Air BnB booked for myself but all though choosing to stay will have to make their own plans.
I will set up a discord nearer time but here is my current plans for the visit.

Brunch in Notts at 11.00. Venue TBA
12.30 - 5.00 Whistle stop tour of city pubs including the following
- The Vat and Fiddle, The Canalhouse, The Fellows Morton, The Trip to Jerusalem, The Salutation and the Keans Head. These places are all near the train and bus station so I can arrange to meet people coming in at other time.
5.00 - Curry at the Anoka. One of the best curry venues I have ever been to. I it has a 2 for 1 offer before 6 so it's great venue if we get in early.
6.00 till Late the Pubs of Canning Circus ( a 5 min tram ride from the city ) including
- The Mist Rolling inn, The Organ Grinder, The Falcon, The Sir John Borlasse Warren and The Hand in Heart.

For those you want to stay the night I will be happy to arrange a walk along the Trent and Beeston Canal either a gentle 3-4 miles from the city to Beeston marina (where we can enjoy an ice cream before the short trip to the Victoria a great Pub that serves an excellent Sunday lunch.) or a pub crawl around West Bridgford depending on the weather.
