How to Fix Broken Britain - Be part of our Think Tank
Details
Anyone with a pulse who lived through the 70s, 80s, 90s and even
the 2000s can see how much worse Britain has become.
To say that Britain/the British way of life as we know it could be gone in
the next few decades is no longer an exaggeration.
Many online commentators say that the Britain has fallen too far and
it's too late to fix it. I believe they are wrong. They underestimate the resourcefulness of the British people. We have been consistently
lied to and censored or cancelled if we complained. But many of us
have woken up to the threat to our way of life and we are determined to
stop our country becoming a historical footnote.
So, this month I want to explore how Britain has been broken and how
it can be fixed.
The obvious top priority if we want to fix Britain is mass immigration.
Current projections suggest we are facing a demographic timebomb.
If we want to pass on the British culture we grew up with to future
generations immigration has to be reduced/reversed.
While important, immigration is far from the only aspect of British
culture that needs fixing.
Our public discourse has become corrupted by vested interests
pushing an agenda. The BBC/mainstream media routinely misinform or
mislead the public and promote climate alarmism and establishment
slogans like "diversity is our greatest strength."
Voices critical of the official narrative are silenced through censorship.
The police and judiciary appear to provide a two-tier service. They are
harsh on some communities and much softer with others.
Our politicians and civil service in particular seem to serve themselves
and not the country and its citizens.
One of the worst aspects of modern Britain is our education system.
From kindergarten to university, pupils are taught a twisted version
of our history and gender/trans ideology is actively promoted.
The sense of community and belonging we used to feel has largely
gone. The cohesive high trust society we enjoyed until the 80s or
90s has been replaced by a fragmented low trust society.
I believe it's not too late, but we'll have to roll up our sleeves and get
involved. Previously we thought we lived in a genuine democracy and
that we could vote ourselves out of the mess. That seems increasingly
unlikely.
However, we will also discuss whether ReformUK or Restore Britain are
sufficiently different from the uniparty to be a credible option to fix
broken Britain.
Obviously, we won't be able to cover all aspects of this topic in a single
session. But if this meeting is popular and productive, it can be the
first in an ongoing series.
We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch, and all good faith opinions are welcomed and respected. Grab a drink at the bar and come upstairs for some lively, open and honest chat. Many folks even choose to stay well past 4pm to continue the discussion!
We don't charge for our events but we do ask for a small cash
donation to help pay for expenses.
