English Conversation Class

We meet at Oppidan Social Café, on Edge Street, in the Northern Quarter, to enjoy our lesson over coffee and cake. I prepare the topic and the questions and manage the discussion so that everyone gets an equal turn. Whenever our number exceeds 10, we split in smaller groups so that we all have plenty of opportunity to participate in the discussion.

Come alone or with a friend, meet new people, speak English and have fun! These meetups are open to all international students and professionals.

Fees

• £2 fee, payable to the teacher to cover materials and website maintenance (CASH only)
• Oppidan Social Cafe charges 6 pence per minute, which is payable upon exit. Please sign in upon arrival - They are offering us a complimentary private room with refreshments, excellent service, free WiFi and unlimited access to a rich buffet that consists of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, toasts & spreads, cakes, fruits and juices, and yogurts.

We aim to begin at 17:00pm and finish by 18:00pm at the latest. Please arrive promptly, register at Reception, get your free coffee/cake/yogurt etc, and proceed to our classroom.
