What to expect
This is a small, thoughtful discussion evening built around ideas brought by the participants themselves. The aim is to explore questions and arguments carefully and in good faith, rather than to debate or persuade.

What to bring
Please arrive with one idea, question, text, observation, or dilemma you’d be happy to discuss. No preparation or specialist knowledge is required.

How it will run
After a brief welcome, a person who wishes will briefly share the idea they’ve brought. We will then discuss this together. Then the next person will present their idea and so on. A timer will be used to make sure that everyone who wants to will get a chance to put forward their idea. There’s no obligation to speak, but attentive listening is expected.

Finding the group
I’ll arrive early and will be seated at a clearly visible table.

Tone
The discussion will be lightly moderated. Curiosity, respect, and clarity matter more than certainty.
