The Illithid Arise... May Social - Miniature Painting!

The night sky crackles with purple light as the mind flayer army draws closer... The back of your eyes begins to itch as the worm makes its way deeper into your skull...

Its been a while since we did this; we miss you!

Pride is approaching, and quicker than ever. It feels like only yesterday we waved our pride banner in the air for the first time! Lets get the ball rolling with this years socials and fundraising, we have some big ideas for this years parade entry, and the more faces stood with us the better. There's still space in our pride parade planning group if you're interested in helping out, in any way at all, so let one of us know.

Join us on Saturday 4th May for a super laid back, work at your own pace, miniature painting session. Whether you're a total newbie to the ttrpg/miniature painting space, or you've converted your garage into a miniature painting factory, come work your magic on one of our 3D printed Mind Flayers. There will be a few different models to choose from on the day, first come first served! All necessary equipment & models will be provided, but what you decide to do with it is completely up to you. And of course, the miniature is then yours to keep!

Please be aware there will be a required minimum donation of £5 for this event, with all proceeds going towards the groups Pride entry & further costs. Money will be collected on the day, cash or bank transfer is fine! We do have a small community-funds pot for those not able to donate. Please do not let financial issues hold you back, let myself know (either on meet-up or Discord) and it will be taken care of :) We'd much rather have you there than not!

The location is 1UP, Didsbury, a dedicated gaming & ttrpg space. There is ample parking on nearby streets as well as the pink line metro stop Didsbury Village within throwing distance. They serve both food & drink, and have multiple games if you'd rather have a go at something else rather than miniature painting!
The space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible as the entire venue is up a rather steep staircase, please let me know if there is anyone missing out on this event due to this and all future events will have additional considerations.

If miniature painting is not your thing, or you cant commit to the full event you're more than welcome to just pop your head in, say hello and have a quick drink. We want to see your faces :)
