Hi there,
The purpose of this group is to create a welcoming, non- judgemental environment, in which people can meet others and enjoy themselves. I'm going to try and make it as wheelchair friendly as possible and should anyone express an interest in attending an event that doesn't have wheelchair access, I'll always accommodate them and change any plans in such circumstances.
Everybody is welcome; regardless of age, gender and whether or not they have a disability. The only requirement is that they have a respectful attitude towards other members of the group. I’ve been quite busy as of late, and I intend to add another event at some point. It is just a meetup group, so I’m aware it might not solve everyone’s problems in life. However, if anyone is nervous and wants introducing to any regular attendees, I’m happy to do it should they send me a private message.
I’d also accept requests from people who may want to put up their own event or have a particular idea in mind. As long as the group encourages others to make connections, I feel that the group is giving something to society. The attendee limit of 20 is just a rough guide to prevent the space from getting overly crowded. Given the attendence is often un-predictable anyway, it's really up to others should they wish to attend.
Just feel it necessary to add on here that my name was changed to lol recently and not by me. My password was weak however I didn’t expect someone to do that. There’s some proper weirdos about clearly and it’s a cowardly thing to do!!!
Anyway, I’m 99.9 % certain they’ve just had a few guesses and got in, so I’ve informed people who sent me there number about it already. However to be on the safe side I’ve changed all my passwords so that it doesn’t happen again.
