I hear great things about this little restaurant on Oldham Rd. [Hong Thai](https://www.instagram.com/hongthaimcr/?hl=en) is just on the other side on Great Ancoats St from the Northern Quarter and a stonesthrow away from Cutting Room Square in Ancoats. Small, modern and serving up a fusion of Thai and Hong Kong street food, the outlet has bounced back after a devastating fire in 2023. I gather it's become quite popular with locals. [Manchester Confidential](https://confidentials.com/manchester/a-phoenix-from-the-ashes-hong-thai-oldham-road-reviewed) are fans.
