House music fans unite for A Love from Outer Space Afterparty. The main event in The Yard - an afternoon affair - has already sold out, but the afterparty in new club Renae is first come, first serve. Free but very limited entry. My friend Toni Key is one of the DJs, sharing the decks with Hardway Bros, Chris Massey and Supernature Disco. Renae is a record shop by day, trendy house club by night. I've not been before but I hear good things. The Thomas St venue is one of the latest additions to the Northern Quarter. Let's meet in nearby Foundry Project at the bus depot end.
