Manchester Over 55's Social Group

This is a social events group for Over 55's who live in Greater Manchester.
My name is Anne, I am the Group Organiser and I already run a small Meetup walking group around Horwich, well-established for 7 years. I've also organised social visits in other groups, and made friends in different social groups.
This Group is for people want to meet up with others and socialise on various days. Visit museums, galleries, exhibitions, places of interest, country houses, historic sites, parks, etc. Go to the cinema, theatre, shows, comedy nights, music events etc. Maybe go for a short walk with pub or cafe lunch after. N.B. We do NOT offer restaurant meals.
Many of the events are accessible by bus, tram, train with a short walk.
It is a private group, meaning that only members can see details of events and who is going.
This group is free for members to join. Anne already pays the Organiser's fee to Meetup
(around £25 per month after converting from dollars).
Please note that we do NOT offer Restaurant meals in this group.
