Shinty or Camanachd is a fast-paced Scottish stick sport played on grass with similarities to hurling and hockey.
Whether youโre completely new to shinty or already familiar with the sport, youโre warmly invited to join us for an introduction session. Weโll cover the basics, run some fun drills, and finish with a relaxed game. All ages and experience levels are welcome. We play in mixed-gender teams.
After the session, weโll be heading to Chorlton for food and drinks and a chance to get to know each other off the pitch.
Please arrive at the pitch 5-10 mins early
Parking is available onsite, and the nearest tram stop is Stretford.
Equipment (stick, helmet, shinguards) is provided
What to bring:
Comfortable sportswear and football boots or trainers.
