Shinty or Camanachd is a fast-paced Scottish stick sport played on grass with similarities to hurling and hockey.

Whether youโ€™re completely new to shinty or already familiar with the sport, youโ€™re warmly invited to join us for an introduction session. Weโ€™ll cover the basics, run some fun drills, and finish with a relaxed game. All ages and experience levels are welcome. We play in mixed-gender teams.

After the session, weโ€™ll be heading to Chorlton for food and drinks and a chance to get to know each other off the pitch.

Please arrive at the pitch 5-10 mins early
Parking is available onsite, and the nearest tram stop is Stretford.

Equipment (stick, helmet, shinguards) is provided
What to bring:
Comfortable sportswear and football boots or trainers.
Waterbottle
