What we’re about
Please note that this is NOT a singles or dating group.
Do you ever feel like a bit of an outsider? Like you don’t quite fit in with the crowd? Maybe don’t want to fit in with the crowd? But do you also find you are missing connection with like-minded souls, others who identify with you and understand you? Who get your need for time and space to reflect and re-energise, but would similarly like to come together once in a while?
If any of this resonates with you, we are Manchester Singular Souls. A group for introverts (in the truest sense of the word, our energy is sapped by large and lengthy gatherings), who nonetheless crave the sustenance which comes from periodically connecting with others. We plan to get together and enjoy coffee and conversation, as well as a range of other events (depending upon what members suggest they’d like to see), in relaxed atmospheres around our great city.
I hope you’ll join me in building a network which you can tap into anytime you feel the need, but back out of again whenever you’ve had your fill.

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel Tour - NOW SOLD OUT!
The Principal Hotel, Oxford Street, Manchester, GBThe Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is one of Great Britain’s grandest commercial buildings - the former offices of the Refuge Assurance. Constructed in stages between 1891 and 1932, the building has now been fully renovated as part of the site’s multi-million pound redevelopment. This transformation includes all 271 bedrooms and suites; the Ballroom and 16 other private dining and event spaces; and the creation of The Refuge Public Bar & Dining Room by Volta.
The painstaking renovation has also revealed a feast of original details in glorious terracotta, faience, marble and glazed brick. The tour of this fascinating building will unlock its secrets, explain its role in the city’s history and give guests plenty of opportunity to photograph its many beauties. Visitors will gain an exclusive peek at this fabulously restored building including the boardroom, the stairs with their superb stained glass, the former banking hall and the vaults under the building.
Along with the story of the Refuge and the Hotel, there will be plenty of stories of the people who have worked within this monumental construction. Entertainment, information and humour are guaranteed.
Tickets cost £20 and can be purchased from the link below:
