Dear Social Impact Enthusiasts!

We are happy to invite you to the launch event for the new One Manchester Catalyst fund (https://www.onemanchester.co.uk/investing-our-communities/our-social-investment-strategy/catalyst-fund-business-and-start-grant).

The event will provide potential applicants with information about this new fund and associated support available.

Participants will hear brief presentations from One Manchester and partners about the fund and support available and have the opportunity to network and discuss their ideas. Participants will also have the opportunity to book a mini advice session to discuss their ideas.

If you are a locally based entrepreneur with an idea that helps deliver social/environmental benefits, then this grant might be for you. One Manchester is offering grants of between £500 and £5,000 to help you make your idea a reality and take your initial steps towards developing your business or - if already setup - taking it to the next stage.

In addition to this funding, we will also help applicants with other sources of support and development. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are looking to develop sustainable businesses and create employment opportunities in our neighbourhoods.

Please note: 8th January is the deadline for expressions of Interest (application link at the bottom of this page (https://www.onemanchester.co.uk/investing-our-communities/our-social-investment-strategy/catalyst-fund-business-and-start-grant))

We will shortlist applicants and notify them on 19th January, inviting them to present their idea at an event in February, where the best ideas will be awarded funding and support from One Manchester and our partners. We are really excited about this fund and we hope to really make a difference to new and growing businesses.

To attend you must get a free ticket in the Eventbrite page here (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/one-manchester-catalyst-fund-launch-event-tickets-39723169068).
